Building on Handgun Level 1, this course focuses on advancing students' marksmanship abilities. Here students will hone their skills and are driven to shoot both farther and faster. Instructors provide tailored guidance to cement the foundations of shooting and gun handling, as well as push students to reveal areas of improvement. Topics covered: - Universal rules of firearm safety - Refinement of stance, grip, and trigger control - Introduction to rapid-fire techniques & recoil control - Introduction to malfunction clearance - Live fire instruction This class is intended for those who are comfortable with the basics and looking to advance their marksmanship skills in the areas of accuracy and speed. Prerequisite: Students must be able to demonstrate safe firearms handling in order to take this course. While not required, students should be able to confidently meet an accuracy standard of 4-5" groups at five yards prior to class attendance. What you will need: - Personal centerfire firearm. Rental firearms are not available for this course.
